Hillbilly’s Kountry Kitchun
Located in downtown Mullens, on Rt 16 about 20 miles south-west of Beckley.
It’s on a 1-way loop around the downtown block, by the railroad tracks.
Very clean – you could eat off the floor! Everything looked fairly new.
I felt welcome and comfortable walking in, although I was probably the only person who didn’t know everyone else.
That’s OK – everyone was friendly.

Thanks, ladies – it was a great meal!
I was craving chili dogs, so I ordered 2 plus a soda.
The buns are nice and thick, like Texas Toast. Nice change from those thin, wimpy buns most places use.
Tasted like home-made chili, and it was delicious!
A bit of advice for women is posted by the cash register.
Extremely clean (even the bathrooms!) – Friendly service – Great food – Very reasonable prices
